We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and licensed to practice in the State of California. Doctor of Pharmacy degree or B.S. in pharmacy with equivalent experience. Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
Clinical pharmacists identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems. They recommend and monitor patient drug therapy and provide drug information. Clinical pharmacists interact with patients, family, and other health care providers as appropriate to assure continuity of services and to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe, timely, cost-effective drug therapy.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of practical experience as a pharmacist of which six months have been gained in a hospital or equivalent practice setting. Residency in hospital pharmacy. Previous experience with a dedicated pharmacy computer system. Experience with a personal computer and associated programs. Ability to work independently. Excellent verbal/written interpersonal communication skills.
