Description

SUMMARY:        

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and supplies, receiving, sorting, and stocking medications and supplies.  Bills and credits medications to patients.

 


Qualifications

Minimum Education:                High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

 

Minimum Experience:                No previous experience required.  1 to 2 years of experience as hospital tech preferred.

 

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:                Pharmacy Tech certification preferred.
