Director of Sales – Plastic Packaging
My client is an industry manufacturer and leader of plastic packaging for bottles, caps and closures to the Pharmaceutical, Health, and Wellness industries. Your role within the organization will be to foster a premier sales force through driving employee engagement, morale, and implement world class sales process that attain or exceed company goals and objectives. You will set the standards, establish performance goals, quotas, and continue to track and critique performance. You will travel with your team for customer visits, grow prospects, and grow the product mix. In this role, you will be part of the Executive Leadership team, assist in achieving strategic visions and plans for future growth of their sales force. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
We are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years’ experience in successful sales team management
7+ years in experience in sales and new business development in the industry – plastics or packaging for the drug, pharma, health, or wellness industry
Exceptional customer service and proven success in building and maintain client relationships
Significant experience and results in driving performance management in a sales department
This position will be located near Reading, PA. Reading is the fifth largest city in PA and known for having a strong local economy, good schools, and a lower cost of living. They are also the Pretzel Capital of the world, but with their close proximity to Philadelphia, you have everything a major city has to offer with sports, culture and entertainment. This is a great place for a growing family with all 4 seasons you have a lot outdoor activities available as well. When not traveling you will likely be based in the HQ office, but work from home as well.
