Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Staff Pharmacist,

POSITION LOCATION: Memphis, TN

POSITION SUMMARY:
As part of the health care team, the candidate practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers for retail, home infusion, and pharmacy support of GI, Radiology, Surgery, and Pain Clinic areas. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information so to ensure proper and accurate drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Pharmacy required, pharmD preferred
Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of TN
Previous hospital experience preferred, but not required
